Introduction

This page contains all the updates to the panel that occur. Milestones are updates that have a significant change. Changes are marked by date, if not much happened on that particular day then days are combined indicated with the ** day.

1.75 Milestone

12/08/2008

  • Updated image hyperlinks to have an opacity of 60% when mouseover.
  • Reorganized the spacing between icons in the index.
  • Added ability to unban more than one person at a time.
  • Styled banlist and also made the columns sortable.

7/07/2008

  • Added many more media features to upload only panels.
  • Added Plugin Documentation to plugin index.
  • Refreshed plugin index with a more readable design.
  • Updated main page with cleaner code.
  • Updated how the Start/Stop with cleaner code.
  • Rewrote introduction to Panel Config for non-owners.
  • Fixed error where Upload Only panels couldn't access the panel.
  • Fixed error where pserver.pat upload didn't work at all.

7/06/2008

  • Created an error messaging system.
  • Added Restrictions that limit free palaces' features.
  • Updated how permissions work for each panel or special subgroup.

1.72 Milestone

2/18/2008

  • Updated the display of the login page.
  • Updated webmin base from 1.38 to 1.40.
  • Fixed error where edit preferences' return link wouldn't work.
  • Fixed error where server's name was encoded in edit preferences.

2/14/2008

  • Updated both log viewers with an introduction and help paragraph.
  • Changed default lines for log viewers from 15 to 25.
  • Updated chat log viewer with a help button about chatlog vs logit.

2/12/2008

  • Added wrap and unwrap text options to both log viewers.
  • Added alternating background colors to both log viewers.
  • Optimized both Pserver and Chat log viewing.
  • Plugins who have more than 1 configuration file now supported.

2/11/2008

  • Added option to search the chat log files.
  • Created a new PAT editor that is more simple and loads faster.
  • Added Change Log and Update notes on the main page.
  • Added Help & Support, and Error Reporting menus to the left navigation.
  • Old editor was turned into an advanced alternative to the new.
  • PAT error message links to the exact line of the error in the simple editor.
  • Fixed error were previous log searches weren't remembered.

1/31/2008

  • Fixed error were certain passwords corrupted the pserver.pref file.

  • 10/25/2007 - Added Ability to search within the server log file.
  • 10/20/2007 - Fixed error were plugin.conf would format incorrectly from plugin disable.
  • 10/17/2007 - Added Ability to edit the plugin.conf directly.
  • 10/17/2007 - Formatted plugin.conf for readability.
  • 10/05/2007 - Fixed error were restarting would sometimes leave the server offline.

9/21/2007

  • Fixed error were restoring backups failed because of permission problems.
  • Removed compression of PRP file when backing up props.

  • 8/27/2007 - Fixed error were SYSOP preference would corrupt pserver.prefs.
  • 8/18/2007 - Fixed error in which the Plugall configuration file couldn't be edited.

  • 7/25/2007 - Fixed error were restore plugin defaults would not work.
  • 7/19/2007 - Added PRP file compression when backing up props.

7/16/2007

  • Created an advanced Filemanager with thumbnails, lightbox, and options.
  • Created an Drag & Drop uploader.
  • Added lightbox effect to images after uploading.
  • Added option when changing a panel password it logs off that user.

1.5 Milestone

7/13/2007

  • Added ability to upload and download the pserver.pat.
  • Created an advanced pserver.pat editor with syntax highlighting.
  • Formatted the panel login screen to be more streamline.

  • 7/07/2007 - Fixed error in which uploads recieve the wrong user permission.
  • 7/07/2007 - Fixed error in which uploads were limited to media.
  • 7/06/2007 - Fixed error that couldn't upload multiple files.

1.4 Milestone

5/31/2007

  • Changed ability to backup the pserver.pat instead of the whole psdata folder.
  • Removed option to backup the whole media folder.

  • 4/19/2007 - Optimized the media index and upload.
  • 4/19/2007 - Fixed error in which special characters displayed wrong in media index.
  • 4/17/2007 - Added Ability to compress the PRP file.
  • 4/14/2007 - Fixed error were Start/Stop was not always working correctly.
  • 4/13/2007 - Fixed error were restricted panel had ability to delete media.
  • 4/13/2007 - Fixed error were stopping the palace had a long delay.
  • 4/13/2007 - Added Ability to view passwords for rooms.
  • 4/11/2007 - Create a New start/stop system.
  • 4/08/2007 - Fixed error were incorrectly changed passwords.

4/06/2007

  • Added ability to view Thumbnails when you upload media.
  • Added ability to delete media.
  • Optimized the whole panel.

1.3 Milestone and below

Information on what was updated, added, or deleted was never recorded previous to 12/1/2006. From our limited information this is the basic breakdown of the most important dates.

10/1/2005 - 12/1/2006

  • 12/1/2006 - Panel gets overhauled from FreePalaces to Imperial Palaces.
  • 03/1/2006 - Panel completes beta and goes to version 1.0
  • 01/1/2006 - Beta turned public and started to be used.
  • 10/1/2005 - Creation of the private beta panel was started.
